 Sometimes it's not about how life turns for us, but how we prepare ourselves for the life that is coming, we sometimes pray for somethings we are not ready to receive.

The biggest problem with our lives is that we do not create a room of any expectations and dissertation, we will to ride on the slopes that more easily to climb. BP MASOMBUKA

Raw Life, New Hope  Life history research aims to provide the reader with an in-depth analysis of the life of the person in which the author of the book has interviewed. This is done through the process of conducting interviews, asking participants to keep record of their daily activities as well as spending some time with the individuals that are being interviewed (Tierney and Lanford 2019: 2). Fiona Ross is an anthropologist who did her own life history research from the year 1991-2004 (Ross 2010: 3), she took her work and wrote a book called Raw Life, New Hope . In this book she mainly focuses on the lives of those who lived in an area known as ‘the park’. She writes about all the challenges residents faced with regards to proper housing conditions due to the laws passed down by apartheid government. A lovely restaurant experience.

The Grass Here I was walking, minding my own business, then a restaurant so immaculate on the outside caught my attention. It had the view of the dam, flying ducks, birds chirping the works, so I thought to myself, let me try this place out. Of course for copyright and legal purposes I will give this place a false name, I will call it "The Grass". Upon entering you meet this wonderful calm, peaceful atmosphere, with almost the entire restaurant staring at you as if you a celebrity (No really they were staring)I do not know if there was something off with my makeup or my boyfriends ridiculous cowboy hat that he was wearing. Anyways, upon entering things were going so smoothly up until the moment of picking a table and decide what we should eat came about and ruined all that. Nothing but confusion First of all, the menu was piece of white A4 paper, typed in romans font size 14 (so much for creativity). How does practicing gratitude facilitate positivity?

  Often life can get so chaotic to a point where one forgets all the little things, they should be grateful for. Practicing gratitude can give a person a moment of relief.   Being grateful can give someone who is going through an unfortunate life event hope. If there is one or two things a person can be grateful for, it can put a person’s mind at ease that not everything is going terribly and there is some good that they need to be thankful for in their lives. Being thankful allows one to appreciate and when one is filled with a sense of appreciation, nothing but positive emotions start to manifest. Appreciating that at least you still have a life, gives one a chance to be hopeful that things will change for the better and that it is never too late to do something that will have a positive impact in their life.
