  Often life can get so chaotic to a point where one forgets all the little things, they should be grateful for. Practicing gratitude can give a person a moment of relief.   Being grateful can give someone who is going through an unfortunate life event hope. If there is one or two things a person can be grateful for, it can put a person’s mind at ease that not everything is going terribly and there is some good that they need to be thankful for in their lives. Being thankful allows one to appreciate and when one is filled with a sense of appreciation, nothing but positive emotions start to manifest. Let's consider the story below: When Thabiso was born a prophet foretold that he would grow up to kill his father and then marry his mother. His father fearing for his life decided to leave the baby in the wilderness with the hope that he will die, thefore the prophecy will not come  true.
