Practicing gratitude can give a person a moment of relief.   Being grateful can give someone who is going through an unfortunate life event hope. If there is one or two things a person can be grateful for, it can put a person’s mind at ease that not everything is going terribly and there is some good that they need to be thankful for in their lives.
