deep linking

By Sandile MHlophe -
Both the app and website now support deep linking. Meaning you can navigate to any part of unitut without hassles.

This also allows you to share specific content to people without worrying about loosing data.

Deep links are a work in progress though, they are supported but not fully functional. However our developers are working on improving them to work on all important screens.

πŸŽ“ Why Unitut Is the Future of Academic Networking — And Why You Should Be Using It Today

By Sandile MHlophe -
In a world where attention is currency, and digital communities are shaping our habits, one platform is reimagining how students learn, connect, and even earn: Unitut . If you haven’t heard about it yet, it’s time to pay attention—because Unitut isn’t just another social app. It’s a movement that blends education, technology, and financial opportunity in a way the world has never seen before. πŸš€ What Is Unitut? At its core, Unitut is a free social network designed for students, tutors, and lifelong learners . Think of it as Facebook meets a study group—with the added bonus of getting paid for your knowledge. Users can create profiles, post questions, share academic content, and collaborate across subjects and grade levels. But here’s the twist: Every time you engage—whether you’re answering questions, uploading study material, or helping another learner—you earn points . And those points? They can be withdrawn as real money . That’s right: you’re getting paid to be smart and ...

Wave interference - Simulation

By Sandile MHlophe -
Topics Interference Double Slit Diffraction Waves Description Make waves with a dripping faucet, audio speaker, or laser! Add a second source to create an interference pattern. Put up a barrier to explore single-slit diffraction and double-slit interference. Experiment with diffraction through elliptical, rectangular, or irregular apertures. Sample Learning Goals Make waves with water, sound, and light and see how they are related. Design an experiment to measure the speed of the wave. Create an interference pattern with two sources, and determine the ways to change the pattern. Find points of constructive and destructive interference by eye and by using the detectors. Put up a barrier to see how the waves move through one or two slits. What sort of pattern do the slits create? How can you change this pattern? For light, predict the locations of the fringes that appear on the screen using d sin(ΞΈ) = mΞ». Use the tape measure to verify your predictions. Explain how the aperture geo...

Segregation during apartheid in South Africa.

By Sandile MHlophe -
The significance of race and ethnicity in the separation amongst individuals during the years of apartheid. Posted by   Sikhanyisiwe Mkhonto Race and Ethnicity are terms that are used interchangeably by the society. Studies have been conducted in trying to find ways to define these terms. Race is a term that has a variety of meanings attached to it. However, the main idea of it all is that this word categorises people into groups that share a historical origin, characteristics and physical traits (MacEachern, 2012: 34-35). Ethnicity means collective identity. This implies that individuals share a tradition that help shape their culture, plays a role in identifying themselves and distinguishes them from other ethnic groups. For example, an ethnic group have the same language in which they communicate in, they share similar ways of dressing, eating and even celebrating. One could be of the same ethnic group; however, their skin colours differ (Antweiler, 2015: 26). In this essay ...

Gas Properties - Simulation

By Sandile MHlophe -
Topics Ideal Gas Law Kinetic Molecular Theory Diffusion PV Work Maxwell-Boltzmann Distribution Description Pump gas molecules to a box and see what happens as you change the volume, add or remove heat, and more. Measure the temperature and pressure, and discover how the properties of the gas vary in relation to each other. Examine kinetic energy and speed histograms for light and heavy particles. Explore diffusion and determine how concentration, temperature, mass, and radius affect the rate of diffusion. Sample Learning Goals Determine how changing a variable among P, V, N, and T influences other gas properties. Describe the relationship between particle-wall collisions and pressure. Predict how changing temperature will affect the speed of molecules. Predict the speed of molecules in thermal equilibrium based on the relative masses of molecules. Identify when pressure-volume work is done on ...
