 Are you free?  we often think we are free but are we really free? this question sounds so simple yet it is actually not. What does it even mean to be free? Well in this post I will explain to the best of my knowledge what is free will and whether we have it or not. can you escape fate? Let's consider the story below: When Thabiso was born a prophet foretold that he would grow up to kill his father and then marry his mother. His father fearing for his life decided to leave the baby in the wilderness with the hope that he will die, thefore the prophecy will not come  true. The baby was found by another couple, and grew up knowing them as his parents. The boy heard of the prophecy, not knowing his adopted and because he loves his father(adopted) he decided to go away from his family to avoid the prophecy.   Often life can get so chaotic to a point where one forgets all the little things, they should be grateful for. Practicing gratitude can give a person a moment of relief.   Being grateful can give someone who is going through an unfortunate life event hope. If there is one or two things a person can be grateful for, it can put a person’s mind at ease that not everything is going terribly and there is some good that they need to be thankful for in their lives. Being thankful allows one to appreciate and when one is filled with a sense of appreciation, nothing but positive emotions start to manifest. Introduction to my University life.

I had always imagined that university would be like a candy shop. Full of sweet and pleasurable moments. Finally I would be free from parental rules and high school drama. The money that I would receive from bursaries would be enough for me to get whatever I desired.  Indeed in my first year in 2011, I found my true lover. He is not the typical tall, dark and handsome. Instead he is short, chubby and funny, something that about him tickled my taste buds and he indeed enjoyed tickling me. Khumalo Hendrick stood out from the rest of the crowd, ironically he is was the shortest, so yeah... Anyways, he had money and was funny so I guess that was a win.  My best friend Sbahle and I always used to chill at the cafeteria to buy some food, we both doing a BSc, of which I believe her science bursary covered most of her needs and I, well had to rely on Khumalo's help and the little I got from home.  Which brings me to my next point, university was not at all like a candy shop, if a...
